ICCFA Educational Foundation
The ICCFA provides scholarships through the ICCFA Educational Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity that supports the association's educational programs.
What Is It?
The foundation is a charitable organization exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). Donors may deduct gifts and contributions to the foundation as charitable donations to the extent allowed by law.
Why Is It?
The foundation was organized for the purpose of supporting the educational programs of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, and to provide a means by which donors may receive a charitable tax deduction for their gifts to the foundation.
How Is It?
The foundation was incorporated in 2005 and has established a scholarship to ICCFA University. It is also developing other programs to support the educational work of the association.

NEXT GENERATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The ICCFA Next Generation Committee has created a scholarship fund through the ICCFA Educational Foundation and will be offering three $1,600 scholarships to the 2011 session of ICCFA University. These scholarships will cover full tuition and meals as well as part of the recipients' hotel costs.

In addition, through a generous donation by Merendino Cemetery Care, the committee has created a specially designated $1,350 scholarship to be awarded to an active or veteran member of the armed forces or military reserves.
