We currently have an opportunity available for a
General Manager at
National Memorial Park - King David Memorial Garden and National Funeral Home located in Falls Church, Virginia just outside of beautiful Washington D.C.. National Memorial Park is the largest and most established combination park in Northern Virginia. National Memorial Park/King David averages over 1150 interments annually and the cemetery is a total of 163 acres. National Memorial Park/ King David's annual combined sales quota is $7,959,000 and is a Cemetery Level III designation.
National Funeral Home averages 325 cases each year and is home a central care center that provides care for the funeral homes located in Northern Virginia. The location has two retorts providing cremation service to the entire Washington D.C. Market. Combined cemetery and funeral operating revenues exceed 11 million annually.
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Actively work with Sales Manager in driving sales with focus on pre need heritage sales
- Monitor, evaluate, and provide operational leadership for Administrative, Central Care, Funeral Home, and Grounds teams.
- Identify, implement, and continuously improve business processes that impact customer satisfaction, employee morale, and financial performance
- Review and evaluate sales activity daily
- Chair shared responsibility team meetings and support department staff meetings.
- Use J.D. Power results and customer feedback to improve overall operations and individual associate performance.
- Assure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
