Evergreen-Washelli held a personalized memorial service by incorporating the deceased's 30-year tow truck career and love of John Deere tractors into the ceremony. Evergreen-Washelli used their fully restored 1938 John Deere tractor and caisson to lead the funeral procession. After the church service, the floral arrangements were placed on the caisson bed and the custom-embroidered head panel was hung from it. The deceased's personal tow truck, which ironically would not start, was towed as the second vehicle and nearly 40 tow trucks joined the final procession.
