Mount Hope Cemetery

Mount Hope Cemetery sends each family a memorial plaque 30 days after the service. The acrylic plaques incorporate a waterfall design with the deceased person's name, birth date and date of death, as well as a small Mount Hope logo and a poem dating back to the cemetery dedication in 1905.
The KIP judges had the following to say about this entry:
- Shows thoughtfulness towards the families while building a good reputation for the cemetery. I like the tie-in of the poem being from the cemetery's dedication. Nice to give the families something to keep with them.
- I can definitely appreciate the sentiment and I'm certain that there are many who would find such a remembrance comforting.

- What a nice way to remember the deceased and remind families of the care you provide. I'd add into the letter sent with the plaque an explanation that the poem is from the cemetery's founding.
