White Haven Memorial Park

White Haven Memorial Park offers personal sessions for those who need more time to heal from their loss. These one-hour visits are scheduled with White Haven's director of chapel events. In many cases the director has already developed a relationship with the family, having helped them plan and then officiated at their loved one's funeral service and catered reception. White Haven also directs grief support groups and quarterly memorial services held in their All Seasons Chapel.
The KIP judges had the following to say about this entry:
- From a marketing standpoint, this program takes advantage of the crucial one-to-one relationship building. By providing this personal touch to people in need, White Haven gives them something really valuable and in turn earns their loyalty and referrals.
- This sounds like it has been very well received and a great resource for the community. Would add the list of other bereavement services to complement the park's offerings.
- This is a great option for grieving individuals - doesn't have stigma of "counseling," with familiar person and easy and convenient. Probably one of the most genuinely helpful things to do.
- Offering personalized support for the grieving is a great service.
