What you do for our members (primary duties):
I provide admistrative support to the External Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel (Bob Fells), regarding the ICFA's officers, Board of Directors, committee chairs and members, when needed. I coordinate the ICFA Service Bureau, serving as liaison with members and consumers regarding the ICFA Credit Exchange Plan. I maintain and process all complaints for the Cemetery Consumer Service Council.

Telecommunications/marketing

What do you like most about working at the ICFA?
My colleagues here are great people to work with. After working in the corporate world for so long, you really appreciate the closeness and comfort of a smaller staff

What's one thing you've learned about cemeteries or funeral homes that you didn't know when you came to work here?
Working with the Government and legal Affairs Committee, I've learned—and was really surprised about—all the rules, regulations and political issues involved.

What's your answer to people who say, "You work WHERE?"
I usually just say I work for the ICFA, a trade association, and if they don't ask what the "ICFA" is, I don't tell. It's not that I'm ashamed of where I work, it's just that some of the questions you get over and over are annoying. "So, do you really work at a cemetery or funeral home? Are there caskets in the office?" "No." (Said with a smile, of course.)

Outside interests/hobbies/accomplishments:
I am a home interior design show nut! "Design on a Dime," "Designers Challenge," "Trading Spaces," etc. I watch anything with a home designing theme. Once I can pull myself away from the TV, I spend the rest of my time with my daughter and all her activities—she keeps me busy.
