JANESVILLE, Wis. – Madelyn Co. co-founder Lisa Saxer-Buros died Nov. 2 of lung cancer, the company has announced.
Lisa’s mother, Madelyn Saxer, gave rise to the Madelyn Co. Keepsake Pendant concept after her passing in 1992.

"I am blessed Madelyn Saxer’s generosity and compassion did not skip a generation, as Lisa has been the best friend and business partner I could ever ask for,'' said Joni G. Cullen, Madelyn Co. owner/partner. "Madelyn and Lisa will continue to be a reflection of what Madelyn Co. is, and what it will be in the future.''

Saxer-Buros is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Gabrielle (Brooks) Graff; son, Hutton Buros; father, Johnny Saxer; two sisters, Valerie Saxer and Sherry Saxer, all of Janesville; brother, John Saxer, Jr. of Florida; sisters-in-law, Rebecca (Jim) Kleyman of Florida, and Camille Buros; nieces: Allegrea S.B. Rosenberg, Ravelle S. Rosenberg, Lindsay (Ryan) Micklus, and Hayley Kleyman; nephews, Jake S. Rosenberg and Paul Kleyman; her beloved furry family includes: Baby, Big Guy, Ritty Tat Tat and Max.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 313 Wall St., Janesville, and a celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held at The Armory, 10 S. High St., Janesville on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, from 7 until 11 p.m. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, please contribute to: Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., Rock County Humane Society, or ECHO.
