Lohman Elected ICCFAPresident-Elect

STERLING, VA (March 26, 2012) – Nancy R. Lohman, CCFE, co-owner and vice president of Lohman Funeral Homes, Cemeteries and Cremation in Daytona Beach, Florida, was elected president-elect of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) during its 2012 Annual Convention & Exposition, March 19-22, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lohman’s company is the largest private, family-owned operator of funeral homes and cemeteries in Florida, with 14 locations, including funeral homes, cemeteries and crematories as well as a pet cemetery.

Lohman served two terms as ICCFA vice president, membership and marketing, and two terms as ICCFA vice president, education. She has served three years as dean of the ICCFA University College of Leadership, Management & Administration, and she was program chair for the ICCFA 2010 Convention & Exposition.

Lohman is a past president of the Southern Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association and has served on the board of directors for the Florida Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association.  She has been president of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the Ormond Beach Historical Trust. She is a member of the Halifax Civic League, the Executive Women’s Council of Daytona Beach, the Kiwanis Club of Ormond Beach, “St. Pals” senior outreach, and the First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach.

Lohman recently was recognized as the “Woman of the Year” by the Executive Women's Council of Daytona Beach and was named one of the most influential women in business in Volusia County.

A graduate of Ohio State University, she is a licensed funeral director and holds the Certified Cemetery Funeral Executive designation in recognition of her extensive management experience within the profession.
